Simple Spam publishes practical guidance for YouTube creators. Our goal is to make moderation decisions easier without overstating what automated detection or platform tools can do.

Who writes and reviews our guides

Articles are published by Simple Spam Research and reviewed against the current product implementation. Policy, interface, and API claims are checked against primary Google, YouTube, regulator, or standards documentation before publication.

How we separate claims

  • Platform behavior is sourced to current YouTube or Google documentation.
  • Product behavior is checked against the released Simple Spam code and operating documentation.
  • Campaign patterns are based on de-identified creator examples and synthetic tests, and are described as observations—not proof of fraud.
  • Inferences are labeled when the evidence does not establish a direct fact.

Examples and privacy

We use fictional, synthetic, or properly anonymized examples. We do not publish private creator datasets, account identifiers, or identifiable comment records without permission.

Automation and human review

Automated tools may assist research organization and drafting. A human reviews product claims, citations, and safety-sensitive advice before publication. We do not publish unreviewed mass-generated articles or alter dates merely to make content look new.

Updates and corrections

Policy-dependent guides show a last-reviewed date and link to their primary sources. If YouTube changes a control or API, the official source takes precedence until the guide is updated. Corrections can be requested at support@simplespam.com.

Commercial transparency

Simple Spam’s resources may explain where the product fits into a moderation workflow. They do not promise perfect detection, guaranteed outcomes, or YouTube endorsement. Useful native-platform guidance is provided whether or not a reader joins the beta.
